Terms of Sale and License

Last updated October 2026

These terms cover buying a Crumbs license and using Crumbs. Crumbs is made and sold by FutureToast Studios ("we", "us").

What you are buying

A license key that unlocks Crumbs Pro: cleaning and Fix All, and the other Pro tools listed on the Crumbs page. It is a one-time payment of $10 (US dollars), plus any sales tax where you live. There is no subscription and nothing renews.

Where licenses are sold

For now, licenses are sold to customers in the United States. The download and the free features are available everywhere.

How you can use it

You can use one key on up to three computers that you own or use, in any mix of Macs and Windows PCs. Please do not share, resell or publish your key, and do not modify Crumbs to get around the license.

The free version

The free features listed on the Crumbs page, including the scan, health score and Space viewer, do not need a key.

License checks

Crumbs activates your key once on each computer and checks about once a week that it is still active. See the privacy note for exactly what is sent.

Updates

Your license includes all updates to Crumbs 1.

Refunds

You can get a full refund within 14 days. See the refund policy.

Looking after your files

Crumbs only removes files it identifies as safe to clear, such as caches and old installers, and never touches your documents or photos. We still recommend keeping a backup, such as Time Machine on a Mac or File History on Windows. On a Mac you can turn on Move to Trash so anything Crumbs removes can be restored; on Windows, old installers go to the Recycle Bin.

Warranty and liability

Crumbs is provided as is. As far as the law allows, we do not give warranties beyond what is written here, and our total liability for anything to do with Crumbs is limited to the amount you paid for your license.

Your privacy

See the Crumbs privacy note.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version in place when you bought your license applies to that purchase.
